At String Sports, we have acquired over a decade of experience in providing personalised advice to each of our valued customers. However the best approach to finding your perfect tennis racket is to try before you buy.
Our Tennis Racket Demo Service
Our demo service can get very busy at times - especially when there are new rackets being released! We work hard to ensure we have a demo racket of each top tier model in stock.
Follow our simple 5 step plan below to order a demo racket:
- Search our catalogue of rackets to find your favourites!
- On the product page of the racket you would like to try, select the "demo" option from the "size" drop-down menu.
- Pay the full price of buying the tennis racket in order to complete your order. (Refunded minus £25 when you return the racket)
- Come collect your demo in-store, or wait for your demo to be delivered.
- Enjoy your demo racket for up to 2 weeks.
If you love your demo racket and want to buy the racket...
- Return the demo racket to us (postage cost incurred)
- Let us know you want to purchase the racket
- Your demo fee of £25 will be deducted from the price of the racket!
If your demo isn't quite right for you, and you would like to return it...
- Return the demo racket to us (postage cost incurred)
- Let us know it wasn't the perfect choice
- Choose whether you would like:
- to receive a full refund (minus your £25 demo charge)
- to try a different demo racket (in this case, you will be charged £25 for the first demo, refunded the rest of your purchase and then a new demo transaction will begin)
Some Extra Information!
- There is no limit to the number of rackets you can demo, however a £25 demo fee is charged on each racket refunded or exchanged!
- The £25 demo fee is waived on any demo racket which is purchased!
- The free restringing service does not apply to demo's sold. If you would like to get the racket restrung, please contact us for more info!
- Demos are charged in store at £10
This is a hugely popular service so demo rackets can become unavailable from time to time. In the event that your desired demo is being used by someone else, we will notify you when it becomes available or offer you an alternative that you may wish to consider. Demos are only available for our adult performance range. If you can't see a demo option within the grip size-drop down menu, it means we don't offer a demo of that racket.
